Examining the trends of the future

On October 22, our head of Business Development attended the event, “Driving the Future: A Look into the Future of Work for Transportation Technicians.”

The training, conducted by Centennial College and presented by the School of Transportation and Solv Sector Sessions, was presented at the Ashtonbee Campus and offered attendees an overview of what will come soon for ground transportation and service technicians.
Some of the topics discussed were the advanced evolution of technology in the foreseeable future, electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and even the possibility of flying taxis.

“We must all prepare for this future, which awaits us with haste, and the BDS Fleet team is no exception. This industry changes rapidly and we need to train in all possible areas if we want to continue being part of this business in the future”. Said Imran Mohammed, head of Business Development at BDS Fleet Service.

This exciting activity allowed the participants to connect with different professionals and representatives of the transport industry and share unique expertise with Centennial’s students and network of industry, academic and, community partners.
