Winter is coming, and it’s time to think about your tires.

With the drop in temperatures and the arrival of the cold, it’s necessary to change our regular tires for the so-called “snow tires,” which work to travel on snow and any other surface, as wet, icy, snowy or even on flooded roads.

But, do you know what happens to tires in the cold? What happens is that when the temperatures drop, the rubber of our tires begins to harden, and this causes it to go from a rubbery state to a more solid one, causing it to lose grip and making it easier for our vehicle to skid on the road.

If, after reading this, you think that you need to buy a new set of tires, we invite you to visit the BDS facilities and allow our specialists to advise you about the best option for your vehicle and your budget. Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tires, the shop can become quite crowded, and the waiting times extend.

If you already have your winter tires, we remind you to check that they are in good condition, without deformities, breakages, or bulges. Remember that you can visit us at 390 Midwest Rd, Toronto, ON, and let one of our professionals do it for you.

Let’s take care of ourselves on the road and prevent accidents, making the change of tires on time.
